Marianne Styles - Marianne has been performing professionally in the Mid-Atlantic region for over 20 years. Marianne likes to say that her greatest inspiration was her mother, Mary, who cleverly offered her a choice each night to practice music or help wash the dishes. Of course music won out, resulting in many extra hours of instrumental and vocal practice. Marianne's favorite instruments are guitar (including her Taylor 912CE Builder's Edition and trusty Fender Paramount Parlor acoustic-electrics) piano and drums/percussion, although she has also performed over the years with numerous other brass and woodwind instruments. Other important inspirations include June Carter, Iris DeMent, Janis Joplin, Joan Baez, Bonny Raitt and Dolly Parton.
Mike Sosler - Michael has been playing guitar and singing since he was 10 years old. Playing in several bands, his musical career spans from classic country to western to classic rock to folk to the standards. His first, and still, musical heroes include Hank Williams Sr., Gene Autry, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson (among others) and his dad. Among his guitars he still plays the Gibson ES-125 that he inherited from his dad and first learned to play on. All of his musical experiences just confirmed his love of music and entertaining the people. Watching people tapping their feet and singing along is a musical high.
